I have spent a day waiting for a courier to come and collect my box of bags and looking after my toddler who is poorly. Very frustrating day as I am supposed to be on my market stall…
But never one to sit around I made this great Victoria style bag out of some lovely Amy Butler fabric from Country Threads in Bath.
I love the shape of the Victoria bags and I think this fabric is perfect for the style! It will be listed on Misi later today!

I hope you like it too!
I have spent the last few days completing custom orders from the sale last week and putting together a collection of bags for a shop in Cheadle, Staffs.
I wanted to show you this really cute glasses case that I made for a customer. I am really pleased with it!

The customer really loved it too!
More pics to follow later today!
Yesterday was a very busy day!
Louise Thompson, the Pheonix Card seller for Tetbury, organised a day of sales at her house for jewellery, cards and bags. We had a session in the morning for mums with toddlers at pre-school or little babies and then a grown up evening session with wine and nibbles.
Th event was well supported and great fun! I got a steady stream of sales and order which I am really pleased about. After Friday evening I needed a good day to confirm I am doing ok!
I do hope we do it again in the future because it was so much fun!
This morning I have been out to get zips and ribbon for orders. Also been asked to send some stock to a friends shop to sell there! Going to be a busy few days! Better than sitting around I guess!
Don’t forget I will be on the market in Tetbury tomorrow as usual! Hope it is nicer than last week!
I have finally managed to get my Misi shop fully stocked with all the bags and purses I have! It has taken a while, but they look really good if I do say so myself!
Got to my Artfire shop now! And make some stock for Tuesdays charity sale….
I have booked another Christmas Fair in November which is good. So I think I am 5 more sales before Christmas. All experience and hopefully a few more sales!
Best get on with listing my bags in the Artfire shop!
Happy Sunday!
Just come back from the market in Tetbury. I was the only stall and it was cold, windy and wet!
But I braved it out for 3 hours until I concluded that since town was so quiet I would be better off going home and working.
So I am sorry if you came down this afternoon. Will be there next week and hopefully more traders and customers in town.
Still trying to warm up after an hour of being home!
Today has been a totally crazy day!
Start off this morning working on the photos taken by Charlotte Bellamy last Friday. Gemma Dawks my fabulous website design, to sort through the photos and decide which one should for where on thesite and in my MISI and Artfire shops. Not easy with over 200 pics to choose from!
We also agreed a collections page which will be full of yummy pics in the next few days!
Then this afternoon I put bags into my MISI shop and started putting them into the Artfire shop too!
I thought I would share pics of my first stall in Tetbury last Thursday. Almost ready for the stall tomorrow. Just some last minute sewing to do tonight!

First day!

Some great bags!

More fabulous bags and make-up bags!
I will put more up in the next few days, but the site is nearly ready to be unleashed on the world!
Hope you enjoy looking at the bags and my Autumn 2009 collection!
Positive first day at the market. I didn’t sell anything but I had loads of interest and people taking business cards. Hopefully if I stay visible people will remember me for Christmas presents! Also talked to a local shop about the bags and they showed some interest.
All good – got to start somewhere!
Pics of the stall coming tomorrow as well as having professional photos taken of the pages for the website tomorrow by Charlotte Bellamy.
So come back soon to see the pictures of my first collection of bags and purses!
I am fabric addict! And I have a serious addiction to fabric shops! I adore quilting shops in particular!
Online shopping is very handy living in the middle of Gloucestershire and I love www.nerybethcrafts.co.uk. The service is very fast and selection is brilliant.
Closer to home I love going to Country Threads Quilting shop in Bath. Not only do I get to go into the beautiful city of bath, but the shop is full to bursting with over 3000 bolts of fabric! The most amazing range and superb service. What else could a fabraholic ask for?
